Lily, a twenty‑something aspiring writer, receives an invitation to a Los Angeles wedding reception with Jonathan, a handsome entomologist and the man of her dreams. Stuck in San Francisco, she turns to her wild friend Frances, who knows the L.A. club scene. After they accidentally lose the invitation, the pair scramble through nightclubs, parties and odd encounters with Hollywood’s underground crowd, constantly missing Jonathan while racing to locate the reception.
