Through the eyes of 15‑year‑old David, the film explores modern family dynamics after his father’s death. Six years later his mother moves in with a new partner, blending two households filled with teenage step‑siblings, a sharp‑tongued grandmother and a fiery American self‑help guru ex‑wife. David imagines his father’s ghost returning to challenge the new step‑family and test its ability to stay together.
