Dead End Run

An exhausted man sprints through a sprawling urban landscape, desperately trying to shake a pursuer. He bursts into a dark back alley and, hearing footsteps closing in, wields a metal bar to defend himself. In a brutal twist, he realizes too late that his blow has killed a young woman.

Against all odds, the woman seems to come back to life and breaks into song and dance with the man, stylized as a musical number. She speaks of destiny drawing them together and mourns how their love must be brief. The scene blends romance with horror, flipping the mood from fear to fantasy.
