What Happens at the End of Dange?

How Dange (2024) ends, what the final scene means, which earlier moments set it up and how to read the ending if the film leaves it open. The full ending explained, with every spoiler.

In the chaotic climax the rival senior group led by Xavier and the junior crew rallied around Yuvaraj clash on the beach just as Gayathri’s political rally is about to begin. The brawl quickly spirals, and Bosco, the power‑hungry lieutenant of Siddhi’s father, seizes the disorder to settle his own scores. He lunges at Gayathri and slashes her throat, hoping her death will blame the seniors and clear the way for his boss’s daughter to win the student‑government election unopposed.

The sudden, brutal attack halts the fighting. Xavier rushes to Gayathri’s side, cradling her while the others scramble to control the crowd. Though grievously injured, Gayathri survives; the shock of the assault forces everyone to abandon their vendettas. In the aftermath, Siddhi is taken into custody because she was present with Bosco when the crime occurred, and her father’s machinations crumble. Bosco himself is killed—implied to be the work of Siddhi’s father, who eliminates the man that jeopardised his political ambitions.

The film ends with Gayathri, now recovered in the hospital, emerging alongside Xavier, Rishika, and Yuvaraj. Their joint appearance signals a tentative reconciliation: Yuvaraj, having finally confronted the pain of his abusive past, chooses to forgive Xavier, and both men pledge to put their rivalry aside in honor of Gayathri’s survivorship. With the campus riot quelled and the corrupt power structure exposed, Gaytheri’s political future looks secure, buoyed by sympathy and the support of those who witnessed her resilience.
