Xavier Coutinho, also known as Prabhu, is a popular final-year medical student who regularly indulges in hardcore narcotics. His drug use hampers his progress and even his compulsory presentation; he turns up high and unable to perform. Faculty and friends notice the decline in his focus as the exam deadline approaches.

Yuvaraj, a first-year student, arrives on campus and is subjected to ragging by several seniors. He decides not to entertain their demands and starts to stand up for himself. His resolve earns him tentative support from some juniors who begin to rally around him.

Yuvaraj's spirited resistance unsettles the seniors who had cornered him. As more juniors back him, the seniors choose to stay away from him. The campus begins to notice a shift in power dynamics around student interactions.

Gayathri, a student political leader, forms a group named Awaaz with Ambika/Vennila Ponnuswamy to advocate for people from scheduled castes facing discrimination on campus and hostels. The platform marks a move into organized college politics. They start mobilizing students beyond campus borders.

Siddhi, Surya Sabapathy, is a student leader with ambitions tied to wider politics and the possibility of becoming chief minister. She has support from both inside and outside the college, leveraging her family's influence. Her political trajectory becomes intertwined with campus power struggles.

Siddhi and Ambika (Vennila) are connected romantically at some point, but their breakup fuels rivalry as they contest for the post of general secretary. The competition intensifies as both use their networks to gain votes. The campus election becomes a focal point for personal and political conflicts.

When Yuvaraj was younger, Xavier was a senior in the same boarding school and Yuvaraj was molested by seniors in the dorm. Xavier was unable to intervene at the time, carrying guilt for his inaction. The incident becomes a shadow over their later relationship.

The abuse episode leaves Yuvaraj scarred and he leaves the boarding school before Xavier can apologize. Xavier is left with guilt over not defending the younger boy. The unresolved wound drives the characters decades later.

Years pass and Xavier becomes a senior again, but Yuvaraj returns with a determination to seek revenge for his scarred childhood. Xavier remains apologetic yet Yuvaraj refuses to accept it, setting up a confrontation rooted in the past.

As college politics unfold, Yuvaraj's plan for revenge remains a constant undercurrent. Xavier's ongoing guilt and remorse complicate his interactions with Yuvaraj and others around him. The dynamic between the two men continues to threaten the fragile balance on campus.
