They push Mesi to speak to him, but she wants a child, sparking Pepe’s jealousy. Kapa’s alleged son, backed by the mafia, also seeks the cash. Threats, blackmail and poisoned apples—only half lethal—cause deaths that reverse when a song plays. In the end the money is fake, and the Statue of Liberty is revealed to be blind.
