Fifteen years after a mysterious hyperspace gate opened over the Pacific, the alternate realm Reto Semaani—home to fairies and monsters—spills its refugees into San Teresa City, a booming “city of dreams” inhabited by two million immigrants from both worlds. Amid stark wealth divides, crime thrives, and the San Teresa Police tackle drugs, prostitution, and weapon trafficking. Detective Kei Matoba pairs with Tirana, a knight from the other side, to bring justice across the twin realities in a gritty buddy‑cop action tale.
