Closed Spaces, Russia’s first emo‑film, follows a restless generation raised in the chaotic 1990s. Teens lack stability while money‑obsessed parents lead reckless lives. Vika, 20, pink‑dressed, black‑nail‑polished, works at a pizzeria. She delivers pizza to Venya, a young man confined to a Moscow city flat by his fear of open space, and he locks the door, trapping them together.
