Mike, a young hired hand, works on a small California farm with his attractive friend Dan. Both feel a mutual attraction, though Dan wants to leave farming for city life, perhaps with Mike. Their neighbor Gary, a boy from the adjoining farm, joins them in daily chores. After a skinny‑dip is misread, the trio is accused and faces town hostility.
