A barker leads the audience through a circus sideshow and menagerie before ushering them into the big top, where a series of classic Avery gags unfold. The trapeze troupe, the Flying Cadenzas, take to the air; a lion puts its head in the tamer’s mouth; and the human cannonball rockets around the globe, delivered with Avery’s cartoon absurdity.
