In the fictional city of Al-Barkat, Ankit Sethi owns a diamond insurance company that faces a huge financial crisis after his company's workers misplace a client's diamonds worth ₹20 crores. This incident sets the stage for the subsequent events, as Ankit is under pressure to resolve his financial problems. He then meets Neha Grover, a flight attendant, during a flight, and they develop an immediate attraction.

Ankit and Neha begin dating and develop a close relationship. Sometime later, Neha announces she is pregnant, prompting Ankit to propose marriage. Neha accepts his proposal, and they plan their future together. Their happiness is soon overshadowed by an attack from goons working for the client, resulting in Neha being severely injured and suffering a miscarriage.

Desperate to pay off his mounting debt, Ankit and Neha decide to execute a daring robbery. The plan involves smuggling diamonds from Minister Harish Sanyal's shipment, which is being transported by plane, and they plan to hijack the flight to secure the diamonds. They aim to leverage a code to access the diamonds hidden inside a cellphone tucked in a briefcase.

Ankit strikes a deal with Sanyal's secretary to learn the code revealing the diamonds' location, promising half of the loot in return. Neha's distraction during the flight provides Ankit an opportunity to retrieve the diamonds from the briefcase before the hijacking begins. Their plan hinges on stealth and timing to avoid detection.

Masked terrorists hijack the flight, demanding the release of terrorist Adil-Mir from a prison in Manali. Ankit pretends to suffer from asthma to sneak into the compartment and attempt to steal the diamonds, but his attempt is thwarted when one hijacker perceives his lying and attacks him. The situation escalates quickly as the hijackers take control of the plane.

Ankit manages to snatch the diamonds during a phone conversation with the hijackers. However, he is caught and engaged in a brutal fistfight with one of the hijackers before being beaten and locked in the washroom. Meanwhile, a man claiming to be Flight Marshal Sudhanshu Roy arrives and kills all hijackers, supposedly saving the passengers.

Following the hijacking, the bomb attached to Ankit's body turns out to be fake, and the hijacker bodies are nowhere to be found. The investigation reveals that the supposed Flight Marshal, Sudhanshu Roy, was an impostor, and the real one was unconscious during the flight. RAW officer Parvez Shaikh takes charge of the inquiry to uncover the truth.

It is uncovered that Ankit's diamonds were fake, and he had only pretended to love Neha to assist in the robbery. Neha reveals she and her accomplices orchestrated the entire hijacking to take revenge on Ankit, with the help of Sudhanshu and a team posing as hijackers. The plan was to fake the hijacking, steal the diamonds, and escape.

Neha contacts Sanyal anonymously, coercing him to halt the investigation by threatening to expose his diamond smuggling. Meanwhile, she and her team successfully execute their plan, making the hijacking appear real but in truth serving as their revenge act. The incident is presented as a genuine hijacking to the media and public.

Neha sends a text message to Sanyal, revealing that Ankit had received the code to the briefcase, exposing his attempt to steal the diamonds. Sanyal, furious, brutalizes his secretary and confronts Ankit at the hospital. Neha then visits Ankit there and confesses that her revenge is complete, leaving him shocked.

With her revenge fulfilled, Neha visits Ankit at the hospital, shares the truth, and then smugly departs in first class, leaving the aftermath of their complex plan behind. Her actions have permanently altered their lives, and she walks away victorious, with her motives finally revealed.
