Chie Takemoto is a reliable young woman who helps her irritable father keep their modest Osaka tavern from failing. Though he is unaware, she still meets her mother, who recently left, and hopes to reunite them once her father finds steady work. She balances long shifts behind the bar with secret visits to her mother's apartment.
