Set against a storm‑laden Tuesday in contemporary Denmark, the film opens with bitter cold and slushy streets as two young women cycle to work. Their routine commute takes a dark turn when they stumble upon a dead man slumped on a park bench, confronting them with a grim, unsettling reality. The stark discovery sets a tone of quiet suspense that lingers throughout the narrative.
