Bumblebees

The movie opens with a fierce battle on Cybertron between Autobots and Decepticons, with Optimus Prime leading the fight. B-127 assists Optimus by calling for help as they head toward a launch pad, aiming to send B-127 to Earth for refuge and to establish a base.

Decepticons rush to destroy the launch pad to prevent Autobots from fleeing. B-127 manages to escape in a Volkswagen Beetle just before the launch pad is destroyed, as Optimus stays behind to continue fighting the Decepticons.

In 1987, Charlie Watson begins her day in Brighton Falls, dealing with her father's passing and her strained relationship with her stepfather Ron. She spends her day working at a carnival and facing mockery from classmates after spilling lemonade on a schoolmate.

B-127 crashes into a Sector 7 training site where agents chase him, and he is caught. Blitzwing, a Decepticon, arrives, captures B-127, rips out his voice box, and tries to kill him, but B-127 destroys Blitzwing with a grenade and his blaster, then shuts down and scans a new form.

Charlie visits her Uncle Hank’s garage for her birthday and, upon seeing a yellow Beetle, trades work for it. She finds B-127’s face hidden beneath the car, and he transforms into Bumblebee, trusting Charlie to keep his secret while he communicates through buzzing sounds.

Using a signal from Bumblebee, Shatter and Dropkick intercept Autobot Cliffjumper and eventually locate Bumblebee on Earth. They interrogate Cliffjumper and arrive on Earth to pursue Bumblebee, linked to the energy readings Charlie’s team reports.

Charlie attempts to repair Bumblebee, activating a message from Optimus Prime that reveals the ongoing Cybertronian civil war. She learns about Bumblebee’s past, and they develop a bond as he starts to communicate and remember his past memories.

Charlie is challenged to jump off a cliff into the water but backs out, remembering her father. Later, she and Memo vandalize Tina’s house as revenge, but Bumblebee goes overboard and wrecks Tina’s car, causing chaos and embarrassment.

Bumblebee’s chaos causes a city blackout when he shorts out transformers, and he is later captured by Sector 7 agents. Charlie and Memo rush to rescue him, leading to Bumblebee regaining his memories and fighting to escape captivity with help from Charlie.

Bumblebee fights Decepticons Shatter and Dropkick at a tower, destroying a device that signals the Decepticons’ arrival. After a massive battle involving a dam break and destruction, Bumblebee is severely injured but saved by Charlie. The Autobots arrive on Earth as Decepticons prepare to attack.

Bumblebee sacrifices himself to save Charlie and fights off the Decepticons. He is presumed dead after a ship crashes into him, but Charlie dives in to rescue him. The Autobot is rescued and begins a new life on Earth, heading to join his fellow Autobots.

Charlie says an emotional goodbye to Bumblebee, who scans into a Camaro for his new form. She returns home, reconnects with her family, and finds a sense of closure, while Bumblebee heads off to reunite with the Autobots on Earth, symbolizing new beginnings.

Optimus Prime welcomes Bumblebee and updates him on the coming of the other Autobots, as Bumblebee takes his place as a key figure in the ongoing war. Meanwhile, Charlie finally repairs her father's car and takes it for a drive, closing her story arc.
