Conan, a nurse, longs to win the heart of his colleague Ellen. He seeks help from a friend who mentions a legend: if you whisper your wish to a dead body, the soul of the deceased might lend a hand. Undeterred, Conan turns to his other friend Oprah, a niece of a local soothsayer, and asks for assistance. He whispers his wish—that Ellen would fall in love with him—into a corpse, only to learn that the deceased had gone deaf before the incantation could take effect. Disappointed, Conan heads home just as an old woman is struck by a car nearby, and he hurries to the scene to whisper his wish again, hoping for another chance.

The next day at work, Ellen flirts with him, and it seems that his wish has somehow worked. Yet trouble soon follows: the old woman begins to haunt Conan by possessing Ellen and dropping cryptic hints. His attempts to fend off the ghost are misunderstood as sexual harassment, resulting in his suspension. Desperate, Conan seeks help from [Oprah], who agrees to assist but only for a monetary fee. When Conan pays, the bill arrives with a piece of paper bearing a demonic ram’s head, signaling that something far darker is at play. Oprah concludes that they must seek her aunt’s help. Her aunt explains that the woman Conan met was a witch named Lola Paula who wanted to ask forgiveness from her granddaughter Lala after unknowingly cursing her on behalf of a client. To lift the curse, Conan must craft a potion using holy water and Paula’s finger, but he is warned that demons will do everything to thwart this resolution, having claimed the lives of Paula’s past clients.

The unlikely duo travels to the island of Bohol to reach Lala. Along the way they survive multiple confrontations with demon-possessed attackers, a test that binds their resolve. When they finally reach Lala’s home, a centipede-like demon launches an assault, but Lala drinks the potion and breaks the curse, destroying the menacing creature. Paula’s presence lingers, but her haunting eases—until she playfully lands one last jab, hitting Conan with a book after joking about her own death.

Later, after a date by Manila Bay, Conan and Oprah share a quiet moment as two shooting stars cross the sky. Conan finally speaks his heart aloud, wishing for Oprah to become his girlfriend. Their moment is interrupted by the arrival of an old woman resembling Paula, who ominously reveals that her own wish is to find her twin, casting a new wave of fear over the pair as they race away in terror.
