A schoolgirl named Akari Tokimiya reluctantly attends her grandfather's memorial service, carrying unhappy memories of his unfinished passion projects. There, she encounters her classmate Takuya, a devoted fan of tokusatsu films, and a mysterious man named Hozumi, the star of her grandfather's final movie. Hozumi possesses a special prop – the "Brush of the God" – which unexpectedly transports Akari and Takuya into the world of the film. They must navigate a dangerous landscape filled with fearsome Kaiju, including the legendary Yamata-no-orochi, and uncover the movie's secrets to find a way back home.
