Brink!

Brink is a gifted, fun-driven skater who wants to skate for pleasure but is drawn into the money and fame offered by Team X-Bladz. He struggles to balance two jobs and his school life while hiding his double life from his family and friends. His journey centers on choosing authenticity over expediency and repairing damaged friendships.

Gabriella is a key Soul-Skaters member whose presence anchors the team’s spirit. She becomes involved in the central love for skating and shares a close friendship with Brink. She is a catalyst for Brink's realization of the consequences of his choices and demonstrates resilience after the accident.

Peter is one of Brink's Soul-Skaters teammates who champions the group’s philosophy of skating for fun. He offers support during Brink’s crisis and helps restore trust within the team after the betrayal.

Jordy is Brink’s friend among the Soul-Skaters who values camaraderie and shared passion for skating over competition. He participates in the team’s routines and stands by Brink as he faces moral choices.

Boomer is a veteran Team X-Bladz member who is injured early on, becoming the catalyst for Brink’s entry into the rival team. He later acts as a voice of fairness and helps Brink see the consequences of Val’s actions.

Val is the dominant, scheming leader of Team X-Bladz who manipulates the race course to win. His cheating triggers Brink’s crisis and ultimately leads to his removal from the team.

Ralph is Brink’s father, a disability recipient who fears for his son’s safety and worries about money. He provides the moral anchor, urging Brink to skate for love of the sport rather than money and to value family above fame.

Jimmy is the Team X-Bladz manager who ultimately disbands Val’s cheating and gives Brink a pathway back to his friends. He embodies a fair-play mindset and recognizes true leadership within the sport.

Mrs. DeLama is Gabriella’s mother who supports her daughter and communicates the consequences of Brink’s choices after the accident. She represents the parental voice that encourages accountability and protection of family.
