In 2019, widespread protests erupted in Chile, leading to a pivotal moment: a call to rewrite the constitution imposed by the Pinochet dictatorship and overhaul its economic policies, known as ‘The Brick’. The film explores this period of radical change through the perspectives of two individuals representing opposing viewpoints. Ramiro, a wealthy businessman, and Mariana, a teacher from a lower-middle-class background, navigate a year of upheaval as protests evolve into transformative efforts. Long-dormant historical conflicts resurface, revealing the enduring wounds of the dictatorship and the urgent need for reconciliation.
