Giant monsters and the rogue computer Brain seek world domination, but the giant robot One‑Seven opposes them. Brain abandons Earth, building an army of robots including Daitetsujin 17 marked with a “17”. A boy whose family was killed by Brain’s followers activates the robot, which protects him from its minions while Defenders hunt the threat.
