Braddock: Missing in Action III

Braddock receives news from Reverend Polanski that Lin Tan Cang is alive and that they have a 12-year-old son named Van. He initially doubts the claim, while a CIA boss, Littlejohn, tells him to disregard it. The revelation prompts Braddock to plan a dangerous return to Vietnam.

Despite official doubts, Braddock resolves to go back into Vietnam to reunite his family. He secures aid from an Australian C-47 pilot and prepares for the perilous mission. He parachutes back into hostile territory to begin the rescue.

After landing, Braddock uses a jet-powered speedboat to outrun Vietnamese Navy patrol boats along the coast. He presses inland, reassembling his plan to reach Lin and Van. The escape demonstrates his combat prowess and determination.

Reverend Polanski leads Braddock to Lin and Van. Their attempt to flee is thwarted when General Quoc's soldiers capture them; Lin is killed on the spot, and Braddock and Van are taken to a torture compound.

Braddock overpowers his guards, frees Van, and makes for Polanski's mission. He hopes to reach safety and continue the rescue operation, despite the increasing danger.

Quoc anticipates Braddock's breakout and rounds up all the mission children, including Van and Polanski, into captivity. Braddock's attempt to rescue becomes a broader mission to free every child.

Braddock locates a hidden weapons cache and arms himself with a modified Heckler & Koch G3, including an underslung 6-shot rotary grenade launcher and bayonet attachments. He steels himself for a decisive assault on the camp. The gear upgrades set up the ensuing raid.

He launches a brutal raid on the camp, killing guards and loading a truck with all the children, including Van and Polanski. The escape is tense, with threats closing in from pursuing guards. Braddock fights methodically to secure a mass evacuation.

As they flee, a Vietnamese-captured US UH-1 Huey closes in and assaults the convoy. Braddock and the group fend off the helicopter and push onward toward safety. The engagement highlights the escalating danger of their flight.

Braddock and the children reach a Vietnamese airstrip on foot, silently neutralize guards, and hijack a C-47 Dakota. The plan shifts to a high-stakes cross-border escape with the improvised airlift.

The hijacked plane is attacked, causing fuel to leak and it crashes just outside the Cambodian-Thai border. Braddock is wounded by a grenade but survives to continue leading the children to safety.

General Quoc arrives aboard a Mil-24 Hind as two US helicopters arrive on the Thai border. Braddock and Van fire on the gunship, bringing it down and killing Quoc in a dramatic finale.

US and Thai forces pour across the border to aid Braddock and the rescued children and tend his injuries. The mission ends with the children safe and reinforced by allied troops at the border.
