Blood: The Last Vampire

In the year 1966, a relentless journey begins with Saya, a highly skilled assassin. Tasked with hunting down Chiropterans, vampiric creatures posing a significant threat to humanity, she embarks on a perilous mission.

Saya's dangerous venture kicks off aboard a busy subway train. In a moment of tragic accuracy, she swiftly eliminates an unsuspecting man, only later discovering that he was not the Chiropteran they believed him to be.

Following the mishap, Saya's handlers assign her a new mission at the Yokota Air Base. The base is on high alert due to an impending threat from a rogue Chiropteran that could disrupt the delicate stability of the region.

To track the infiltrating Chiropterans, Saya adopts the persona of a schoolgirl. This new identity allows her to delve into the nearby high school, where her mission intensifies as she hunts the creatures down one by one.

As Saya adjusts to her schoolgirl disguise, she meets Amino Makiho, a timid nurse. The annual Halloween festivities at the school serve as the backdrop for a violent intrusion as Saya’s hunt takes a dark turn.

During the Halloween festivities, Makiho is visited by her classmates, Sharon and Linda. Suddenly, Saya bursts into the scene, brandishing her sword, eliminating Linda, while leaving Sharon critically injured, both of whom reveal their true nature as Chiropterans.

With chaos erupting in the high school, Makiho witnesses Sharon undergo a horrifying transformation. Saya arrives in the nick of time to rescue Makiho as Chiropterans close in on them in the motor pool.

As tension escalates, Saya receives a new sword from David. This weapon proves essential as she confronts and successfully eliminates Sharon, further demonstrating her skills in combat against the vampire threat.

In a climactic battle, the final Chiropteran attempts to escape using a cargo plane. Saya relentlessly pursues it, inflicting a mortal blow before allowing it to drink her blood in a hauntingly symbolic act of defeat.

As dawn breaks, Makiho faces a tense interrogation by government officials regarding the previous night’s chaos. The meticulous nature of the questioning reveals that evidence of Saya’s battle against the Chiropterans has been wiped clean.

During her interrogation, Makiho is shown a photograph intended to evoke her memory. Instead, she is confronted with an unsettling image of a girl who looks like her, accompanied by the ominous caption that reads 'VAMPIRE' from the year 1892.

Left with profound uncertainties, Makiho grapples with the truth behind Saya's whereabouts and the Chiropterans. The night’s events have left her contemplating whether Saya continues to fight the dark forces threatening their existence.
