In an era of heightened national security, the United States conceals a delicate operation behind layers of bureaucracy and silence. A remote installation known only as Base X houses knowledge too dangerous to let slip into public awareness, and every precaution is taken to keep its location and purpose shrouded in mystery. Dr. Bartholomew Snow, a respected psychiatrist, is recruited by the government to lend his expertise to this covert effort.
