Scott Jordan (Roddy McDowall), a horse lover on his uncle Bill’s ranch, buys a wild stallion from cousin Daniel and names it Midnight. As he attempts to tame the horse, the sheriff (Kirby Grant) suspects theft, and Daniel’s scheme ends in a man’s death. Scott must prove Midnight acted in self‑defense before his uncle decides to kill the animal.
