Black Heaven

Gaspard is a young man who leads a visibly carefree life in the South of France. His world is established as lighthearted and easygoing before the events introduce darker undercurrents through his encounters with Audrey, Dragon, and a mobile phone that ties them all together.

Marion discovers a mobile phone left behind in a changing room on the beach. The messages hint at Dragon and a person named Sam, suggesting a planned meeting and hinting at a deeper connection behind the phone.

The last message provides a time and location for a date, which intrigues both Gaspard and Marion. Instead of returning the phone, they decide to shadow its owners and see what unfolds.

Gaspard and Marion reach the rendezvous and witness Dragon and Sam arriving. They soon learn that Sam is actually Audrey, a woman who captivates Gaspard, prompting them to follow Audrey and Dragon further.

After a DIY store visit, the couples end up in a deserted corner at the end of a dirt road. Dragon and Sam attempt suicide using a plastic snake and Dragon's car, initiating a tragic turn of events.

Marion and Gaspard rush to help, but Dragon dies while Audrey survives thanks to Marion's rescue breaths and the arrival of paramedics. The immediate crisis ends, but the emotional aftermath lingers for the survivors.

Gaspard locates Sam in a Black Hole virtual private club and begins a tentative online connection with her. In the night that follows, Sam's in-game actions are mirrored by real-life curiosity and daring from Gaspard.

After several virtual dates, Sam and Gordon make a pact: Gaspard must hurt his girlfriend Marion in real life for Sam, in exchange for Audrey spending a night with him in the virtual world as payment. The lines between the virtual world and reality blur into dangerous territory.

Gaspard fulfills his part by breaking up with Marion, but Audrey instead spends the night with his friend Ludo. The emotional fallout deepens as relationships fracture and trust erodes beneath the surface.

Audrey's brother Vincent breaks into Gaspard's home and reveals Audrey's long history with suicidal thoughts. He admits a disturbing fascination with suicide and hints at manipulating his sister to lure others into dangerous situations.

Gaspard attempts to contact Sam via Black Hole and goes to Audrey and Vincent's apartment. Vincent overpowers him and drags him to the roof, where Audrey leaps off to divert her brother's attack, and Vincent stops only after realizing she is dead.

The next morning, both Gaspard and Vincent are at the police station, marking the formal fallout of the night's events. Marion embraces Gaspard, appearing to forgive him as they begin to confront the aftermath together.
