Set in present‑day Mato Grosso do Sul, Brazil, the film follows the aftermath of a young Guarani‑Kaiowá woman's suicide. Grieving and outraged, Nádio organizes his people to establish a protest camp on the edge of a local farm that lies atop their ancestral burial ground, demanding recognition and protection of their sacred land.
