Lucky is a forgetful junior botanist whose father arranges a marriage with Rao's daughter. Rao quickly decides to break the alliance after learning about Lucky's fragile focus and warns him not to show up again. The setup seeds the central conflict as Lucky must navigate love and memory lapses.

During a routine donation to his boss, Lucky's heart shifts toward Nandana, a Kuchipudi teacher. He unknowingly donates blood to one of her students, leaving a positive impression. This marks the first real spark between Lucky and Nandana, despite Lucky's absent-mindedness.

In their early encounters, Lucky forgets tiny things and tries to hide his flaw by presenting himself as generous. He learns that Nandana is Rao's daughter, the very girl he was to marry. Inspector Ajay emerges as a rival in love, setting up a competition for Nandana's affections.

On Nandana's birthday, Ajay proposes, but Lucky becomes entwined in her life when he helps deliver her sister-in-law to a hospital as labor begins. The birth creates a tender moment when Nandana proposes to Lucky, and they begin a relationship.

Rao's first meeting with Lucky is awkward, culminating in a clash with a young girl near a pond where Rao insults him. Disturbed by the confrontation, Lucky realizes the stakes and flees to protect their budding romance.

Lucky crafts a plan to win Rao's trust by having a friend pose as Nandana's lover and by taking up Rao as an apprentice. The ruse aims to stabilize the relationship and outmaneuver memory lapses that threaten their union.

A family naming ceremony spirals into confusion: Rao's nephew mistakes Lucky's friend for Nandana's lover, while others assume Lucky himself is her suitor. The confusion deepens the romance's entanglements and tests loyalties.

Lucky visits Nandana while she is sick, and Ajay's team captures a video of Lucky romancing her. Ajay uses the footage to allege that Lucky is mentally unstable, driving a wedge between the couple and triggering a breakup.

Rao recognizes Lucky's sincerity and pressures Nandana to choose Lucky over Ajay at their engagement. He reveals that he has watched how amnesia could influence the relationship, prompting Lucky to prove himself.

Lucky reaches the temple where the wedding is scheduled, but his memory slips again and he buys a lemon soda as a distraction. The ruse lures Ajay's henchmen away, allowing Lucky to reach the true venue and marry Nandana in a decisive ceremony at an aluminium factory.

Rao visits the newlyweds and notes improvement in Lucky's condition. He mentions Ajay's absence, and Lucky recalls tying Ajay up at the factory, realizing his memory is returning in small steps, strengthening their bond.

The film closes with Lucky and Nandana navigating their marriage with humor and care. Lucky's forgetfulness remains a challenge, but his devotion endures, underscoring a quiet resilience in their life together.
