Following Die Bettwurst, Dietmar and Luzi remain an unorthodox, passionate couple. Dietmar, openly bisexual and unfaithful, speaks in his own German dialect; Luzi embodies coziness. They marry at Berlin’s Memorial Church, briefly split over his cheating, then reunite when Luzi’s dog is poisoned, prompting Dietmar to comfort her.
