In the spirit of Dashiell Hammett and Raymond Chandler, the film revives the classic 1930s hard‑boiled gumshoe. Private investigator Miles C. Banyon navigates the shadowy streets of Los Angeles, and his first case as the series pilot becomes deadly when a young client is found murdered in his office, shot with his own gun, pulling him into a tangled noir mystery.
