A high school cheerleader named Molly finds herself bound and gagged in the trunk of her boyfriend’s car, marking the beginning of a terrifying night. After escaping her captor and fleeing into the surrounding forest, she encounters the town's chilling urban legend: The Hangman, a deformed zealot who targets male trespassers and holds women captive. Along with her best friend and potential rescuer, Noah, Molly must find a way to survive and avoid becoming the Hangman's next victims while uncovering the dark secrets of the backwoods.
