Set near a coastal salt storage house rumored to be haunted, the story follows a broke former inmate who is brutally murdered in a house he cannot afford. Detectives Min, recently reinstated after a suspension, and Lee, a forensic transfer, are assigned the case. Min is plagued by nightmares of a past sexual assault. As they investigate, two more of the ex‑con’s friends die from mysterious poisonings, and a newly‑married doctor emerges as a suspect. The detectives must untangle connections to a death ten years earlier, a missing girl, and the eerie salt storehouse, questioning whether the supernatural lies beyond their reach.
