In a rural area, a car is ambushed by a gang of four men—Sukha Abhishek Banerjee, Jugnu Rajpal Yadav, Balli Sumit Gulati, and Chhota Aaditya Gupta—who kill its occupants and loot their jewellery. Planning their next target, the gang sets their sights on a nearby truck. Meanwhile, Apurva Kashyap Tara Sutaria, a young woman, travels by bus to surprise her fiancé, Siddharth “Sid” Dhairya Karwa. When the bus driver refuses to yield to Jugnu’s car, the gang escalates the situation, killing the driver and conductor. During a phone call between Apurva and Sid, Sukha argues with Sid, ultimately deciding to abduct Apurva.
The gang takes Apurva to an abandoned village, where Chhota threatens her. In a moment of desperation, Apurva pushes him away, but Chhota retaliates, knocking her unconscious. An astrologer Tara Chand Om Rakesh Chaturvedi soon arrives and is also captured by the gang. Regaining consciousness, Apurva escapes with Tara, who becomes her ally.
As they try to evade capture, Apurva confronts and kills Chhota in self-defense. Blaming Tara Chand for Chhota’s death, the gang hunts him down, eventually killing him while Apurva narrowly escapes. She manages to call Sid on Tara Chand’s phone, informing him of the gang’s identities, but is left to survive alone until morning as the police advise Sid to wait to intervene. Balli soon discovers Apurva and attempts to sexually assault her. Pretending to submit, she seizes an opportunity to overpower and stab him. Jugnu and Sukha, finding Balli gravely injured, continue their pursuit. Apurva lures Jugnu into a well, pushing him in and killing him, and later dispatches the injured Balli.
In a final confrontation, Apurva attempts to run down Sukha with a stolen car, but a crash leads to a struggle near a railway. Overpowered, Apurva finally pushes Sukha away, who expresses a twisted desire to marry her. In a decisive moment, Apurva kills Sukha and seeks refuge in a nearby railway crossing cabin, where she manages to contact Sid, ending her night of survival.

The final act erupts when Apurva, left alone with the criminals, turns the tables. After the gang’s loot is scattered, a wandering astrologer named Tara is forced to stay with her, but when the thieves are distracted Apurva slips away and frees Tara. The escape is short‑lived: the gang’s leader Jug Nu, the brute Sukkha, and their henchmen Balli and Chhota re‑convene, intent on assaulting her.
In the ensuing chaos Apurva manages to kill Chhota with her own hands. Tara is murdered by Jug Nu, but Apurva snatches Tara’s phone and tries to reach Siddharth. He initially ignores the call, dismissing the unknown number, but eventually answers and learns in vague terms where she might be. Realising that help will not arrive in time, Apurva fights for survival. She wounds Balli so badly that he collapses, and when Sukkha refuses to aid his comrade—because he had already tried to assault her—she uses their infighting to her advantage.
She lures Jug Nu into a deep well; he falls in and she finishes him off with rocks. The last two attackers, Sukkha and Balli, chase her onto railway tracks. In a desperate move she hurls Sukkha in front of an oncoming train; the impact only maims him, and as he lies dying he begs for a chance to assault her. Apurva shows no mercy and ends his life. Balli, already gravely injured, is left unable to continue.
Exhausted and shaken, Apurva reaches a telephone, the only link she has left after losing Tara’s cell. She finally connects with Siddharth, breaking down as the nightmare recedes. The film closes on her sobbing relief, implying that she has survived the ordeal but leaving the aftermath of her trauma to the viewer’s imagination.
