Mexican artist Gelsen Gas, together with Alejandro Jodorowsky—the filmmaker behind Fando y Lis, El Topo and The Holy Mountain—appears as a theater director, artist and poet who conceives a project to stage haiku performances that echo the era’s sexually charged and politically turbulent atmosphere. The film opens with a man uncovering several rolls of film buried in the desert.
