Hitomi watches classmate Eriko steal lipstick in a drugstore and follows her home, where they quickly become intimate. Hitomi, withdrawn, believes they are reincarnated angel warriors who fought demons, while Eriko drifts through affairs with older men and fears a dull, bourgeois future. Their opposing paths and conflicting visions create tension.
