Following the loss of his mother, Rein seeks solace and a fresh start by relocating to a quiet village nestled in the Alps. There, he works as a snowboard instructor and dedicates himself to meditation and connecting with nature. His peaceful existence is disrupted when his outgoing father, Gijs, arrives for a visit, creating tension and ultimately pushing Rein to his limit.
