Alpha. (2024) Plot Summary & Ending Explained

Keda finally reaches the edge of his clan’s territory, exhausted and barely able to walk, and the tribe’s shaman tends to both him and the injured wolf he has named Alpha. The healer’s fires close the wounds that the harsh winter and countless predators inflicted, allowing Keda to stand again and confirming that the boy’s determination has paid off.

During the night after their rescue, Alpha goes into labor; she gives birth to a litter of five pups, and the tribe accepts them as part of their own. Rather than re‑joining her original pack, Alpha chooses to stay with the people who saved her, and the puppies are raised alongside the hunters. The closing tableau shows Keda, spear in hand, marching out with Alpha and her young wolves as the whole group heads toward the next hunt, a visual promise of the partnership that will shape humanity’s future.
