Gloves, Sunshine, and Barney infiltrate a large underground Nazi meeting by pretending to be officers and using a double-talk ruse to stall the proceedings. Ebbing tries a desperate suicide attack by steering a high-explosive boat toward a battleship; Gloves diverts the boat and leaps into the water as the craft explodes. Back at the police station, all charges are dropped and the mayor plans to honor Gloves at City Hall. Ma Donahue's 'got a feeling' about the milkman closes the film with her anxious humor.
