When school resumes in September, Shusuke emerges as a changed individual, adopting the guise of a cruel bully reveling in the anguish of his peers.

Yuichi, now tangled in Shusuke’s darker influences, finds himself involved in their gang’s dangerous exploits. Struggling to navigate these challenging times, he finds solace in the ethereal sounds of Lily Chou-Chou’s music and his burgeoning online friendships. However, tragedy strikes when Yuichi is tasked with overseeing Shiori Tsuda, a girl coerced into compromising situations by Shusuke’s gang. Kuno also faces dire consequences after unintentionally offending the school’s girl gang, leading to severe bullying, including the loss of her hair.

As events spiral rapidly out of control, Yuichi must confront the repercussions of Shusuke’s violent behavior, including heartbreak and loss. It is only through an intervention from “Blue Cat” that he regains some hope and clarity. The film takes us through bustling scenes of Tokyo, culminating in Yuichi’s long-awaited experience at a Lily Chou-Chou concert, where he not only anticipates the joy of the music but also the chance to finally meet “Blue Cat.” Unfortunately, fate deals him an unfair hand when he encounters Shusuke, who callously discards Yuichi’s concert ticket, leaving him dispirited.
