Barry, a lazy playboy, hopes to inherit his uncle’s “king of roast meat sauce” fortune, but learns the secret recipe died with the uncle, leaving only the Aegean island Eftychia. Hotelier Richard plans a resort, so they travel to Greece, where teacher Aliki and her mother Anna oppose tourism. Aliki charms Barry; Richard falls for Anna’s cooking and learns she still knows the sauce recipe, saving the island and sparking a fortunate turn of fate.
