Alice and Julius the cat ride an elephant through the jungle. Julius falls, narrowly escapes crocodiles, then saves a monkey barber whose pole a hippo mistook for candy, crafting a replacement from a tiger’s striped tail. Two elephant calves play at a waterhole. When Alice tries to hunt a lion and is outmatched, Julius bravely rescues her.
