Albert, an auto mechanic, hears a radio broadcast praising a society organized like ants. A car hood falls on him, knocking him out, and in his dream he works in the ant‑run state of Antrolia, quickly disillusioned. After threatening to strike he faces a firing squad, awakens, attacks the speaker and delivers a scathing critique of the ant‑state.
