Aladdin

The film begins with a Mariner sailing on the sea with his wife and two children. He starts storytelling, narrating a tale of a street rat, a princess, and a magic lamp, setting the scene for the story to come. This frames the narrative and introduces the setting of Agrabah to viewers.

Outside the Cave of Wonders, Jafar and his parrot Iago wait for their pawn to retrieve a treasure. The cave tests everyone by rejecting unworthy individuals and burying them in sand, seeking the 'diamond in the rough.'

In the marketplace of Agrabah, Aladdin lives as a sneaky street rat, getting by through theft and cunning. He interacts with a family in need and later steals a bracelet from Princess Jasmine, setting up his character as resourceful but impoverished.

Princess Jasmine, disguised as a commoner, takes food from a stand and gives it to children, showcasing her desire for freedom. She also accidentally sanctions her identity to Aladdin during their encounter, complicating their relationship.

Aladdin is chased and insulted by guards after a confrontation where he defends Jasmine's honor. He returns home feeling dejected, exemplifying his status as a street rat and outsider within the palace society.

Jafar, the vizier, seeks to invade Sherebad and tries to hypnotize the Sultan. Meanwhile, he notices Aladdin entering the palace and begins plotting to manipulate him for his own benefit.

Aladdin is recruited by Jafar to retrieve a magic lamp from the Cave of Wonders. He and Abu face temptation, but focus on finding the lamp, ultimately escaping with its help after the cave begins to crumble around them.

Aladdin rubs the magic lamp and summons a powerful Genie who offers to grant three wishes. The Genie songs and demonstrates his abilities, sparking Aladdin’s ambition to become a prince in hopes of winning Jasmine.

Aladdin, as Prince Ali, makes a grand entrance into Agrabah, impressing the city with a lavish display. However, Jasmine remains unimpressed and skeptical of his true identity.

Aladdin and Jasmine share a romantic ride on Carpet across the city, exploring their feelings and the beauty of the world. Jasmine learns the truth about Aladdin’s identity but chooses to trust him.

Jafar discovers Prince Ali’s true identity and attempts to expose him, pushing him into the ocean to test his survival. Aladdin is saved by Genie, and they confront Jafar, revealing his treachery.

Jafar uses the lamp to manipulate the Sultan and wishes to become the most powerful sorcerer. He overpowers Aladdin and Jasmine, taking control of Agrabah and forcing Jasmine into marriage under threat.

Aladdin, Abu, and Carpet return to fight Jafar. Jafar’s third wish grants him immense power, but he becomes a genie trapped in his own lamp. Aladdin exposes his schemes and rescues everyone, restoring order.

Aladdin wishes to free Genie, which he does, freeing Genie from his lamp and making him human. Aladdin and Jasmine are celebrated, and they marry, happily ruling and exploring their future together.
