FBI Agent Stanley P. Lloyd is assigned to transport the second of three famous diamonds, known as the Napoleon diamonds, on a convoy. During the journey, their vehicle's windshield is approached by a squeegee man who is later revealed to be working with master thief Max Burdett. Lloyd tips the man, but this allows Max to scan the vehicle's security, planning his theft.

Max Burdett, with the help of Lola disguised as the squeegee man’s girlfriend, takes control of Lloyd’s vehicle at the warehouse. Max is shot by Lloyd during the theft, who is later gassed and passed out. Lola discreetly swaps the diamond with a dollar bill and escapes with Max, heading to Paradise Island in The Bahamas.
