A man with a shaved head, wearing a red robe and going barefoot, journeys through a landscape of forests, grasslands, and urban areas. He moves with quiet determination, passing through locations like a train station, church, and museum. His travels take him through Washington, D.C., where another unidentified person is also moving about, their intentions unclear – are they following him, or simply sharing the same path? The passage of time is marked by the rising and setting of the sun.
