Amy, a New York executive for a wellness company, seeks an Italian chef, Marcello Barone, to help launch a meal prep kit service. Marcello, disillusioned by his past experiences in New York, now runs a cooking school in Venice and initially declines her offer. Determined, Amy enrolls in his school, located in a beautiful Venetian palazzo. There, Marcello introduces her to the Italian lifestyle and the benefits of fresh ingredients. As the course ends and Amy's attempts to lure him back to New York fail, she faces a choice: return home or embrace a new life in Venice.
