A tropical storm blows an elderly winged man onto a Caribbean island, where a poor family shelters him in a chicken coop. Priest Father Gonzaga condemns him while locals Elisinda and Pelayo charge admission. A travel carnival turns him into spectacle and unwanted pet. After six years he repairs his wings and flies away, a commentary on exploitation.
