A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas

Six years after their previous adventures, Harold Lee has transformed into a successful businessman on Wall Street. He is now happily married to Maria, leaving behind his days of cannabis use and a more carefree life.

In stark contrast to Harold, Kumar Patel is stuck in an aimless existence, overwhelmed by the remnants of his chaotic past. He faces loneliness and is still grappling with the fallout from being recently dumped by his wife.

During the holiday season, Kumar finds himself in an unusual situation, purchasing marijuana from Mall Santa Larry Juston. The juxtap of holiday cheer and Kumar's poor choices highlights his continuing disarray.

Maria's father, Mr. Carlos Perez, arrives to spend Christmas with Harold and Maria. He brings a grand Christmas tree that he's cared for over eight years, along with profound stories about loss and family.

Eager to win over Mr. Perez, Harold makes grand efforts to impress his future father-in-law. Despite his willingness to learn Spanish and decorate extravagantly, he faces comedic missteps that cause frustration.

Kumar receives a mysterious package intended for Harold and, feeling nostalgic, decides to drop it off. Inside, he finds a potent marijuana joint, which ultimately leads to chaotic consequences.

In a moment of weakness, Kumar lights up the joint, which Harold instinctively flicks away, causing it to ignite the Christmas tree. This disaster heightens the stakes as Harold scrambles to conceal the damage before Maria's family returns.

With the tree in flames, Harold kicks Kumar out in anger and races against time to replace the damaged tree. Along the way, he encounters Kumar, who unwittingly outbids him for the last remaining tree.

As Harold and Kumar drive away with the new tree, a series of calamities culminate in a car crash, leaving both the car and the beautiful tree in ruin. The events spiral into hilarity, showcasing their misfortunes.

Harold learns from Kumar's neighbor that a girl named Mary has a Christmas tree that resembles the one he wanted. He strikes a deal for a ride to her party, hoping to secure a new tree.
