In Barcelona, 1967, architect Hans Fromm, a German expatriate, lives a quiet life but becomes the target of an antifascist death squad. Their leader Julius, seeking revenge for his brother killed by the ruthless SS officer Schmidt, suspects Fromm and Schmidt are the same man. The squad—Georges, whose family Schmidt liquidated; mercenary Raphaël; photographer Nils; and Romain—shadow Fromm. Convinced, Julius authorises a strike, luring him to an old house, but Schmidt‑Fromm refuses to be captured easily.
