Egghead, a country bumpkin, reaches Bagdad and wins a magic lamp at a carnival crane game. A shady player wants it, and the sultan offers his daughter's hand. Egghead summons a carpet with the lamp, but the rival swaps it for a coffeepot. After being thrown out, Egghead recovers lamp, takes the princess, escapes; she uses lamp to summon a suitor.
