Three scientists—Laci, Gyuri and Kati—celebrate their program’s success with days of drinking before New Year’s Eve. On New Year’s morning their optimism fades as the kindly, bald, older director is replaced by a younger, bald but disagreeable successor. In the tense atmosphere each character’s grudges surface, turning casual talk into sharp debates.
