After inheriting his great‑uncle’s country house, Adam and his friend Rufus choose to spend the summer there instead of traveling abroad. Over the weeks an eclectic mix of guests arrives under various pretenses, creating an uneasy atmosphere. Ten years later, a young woman’s and an infant’s bodies are found in the woods behind the property. When police investigate the cold case, they focus on Adam as the former owner, forcing the events of that summer to resurface and threaten his present life.
